How to download a video or audio class
The principle is easy but what you have to do depends on the browser application you are using.
Most people use Internet Explorer 6 or 7 or Mozilla Firefox
Using Internet Explorer
1. Navigate to the page that contains the file you want to download.
2. Click the file you want using the right hand side mouse button ("right click") - and then left click "Save Target as"
3. The dialogue box shown below will pop up - navigate to the folder where you want to save the file - and click ""Save".
4. The download notification box will open as below - and will close when the download completes.
The download of an MP3 file takes 30 secs upwards depending on your connection speed.
5. Your item will now be in its intended folder!
6. Navigate to the folder where you put the file, double left click the file and it should open in your default media player.
Firefox
1. Before you start to download a file in Firefox you can set up your downloading settings. Go to Tools....Options.
2. The box below will pop up. You have 2 choices. The first one is "Save files to" - then click "browse" to navigate to the folder your choose.
The second choice is "Always ask me where to save files." If you choose this item,
every time you go to download an item it will give you a pop up box that allows you to choose where you want each file to go.
3. Now navigate to the page in www.pbks.info where the class you want is located.
Right click the file you want and when the box below appears, left click "Save link As"
5. The box below pops up. Navigate to the where you want to save the file or just hit "Save" if you have selected a default download folder.
6. If you have selected for it, the download box appears.
7. After a few minutes or so (depending on your connection speed), the download will complete.
8. Navigate to the folder where you put the file, double left click the file and it should open in your default media player.
